This grass can reach 1'-2' tall and has green leaves that are reddish-maroon at the tips. It needs a moderate amount of water. It spreads by underground runners so consider planting in containers or areas where it can be controlled. When 'Rubra' is backlit, it is spectacular.

Oleander is an evergreen shrub with moderate to fast growth. Leaves are narrow, 4"-12" long, dark green, leathery, and glossy, attractive in all seasons. Flowers are in clusters on branch ends; blooms from late spring through fall.

This clumping perennial iris relative stands 3'-4' high. It has light- yellow, iris-like flowers with maroon blotches that are about 2" wide. It performs best in full sun and in soil with good drainage.
