The "Double Sunburst' is a wonderful cultivar and a showy, southern U.S. native. Golden yellow double flowers on 36" tall bushy plants bloom from June to September in full sun and average to dry soils. It is wonderful in a dried flower arrangment. Pelargonium X hortorum is a shrubby, succulent annual stemmed to 3' or more. Round or kidney-shaped leaves are velvety and hairy, soft to the touch, aromatic, with edges distinctly lobed and scalloped toothed. Single and double flowers are flatter and smaller than those of Pelargonium domesticum variety, but clusters bear more blossoms. Comes in many colors such as white, pink, red, salmon and bi-colored.

This magnificient plant can used as a small tree or shrub. It is deciduous with graceful leaves which have a scarlet color in spring as it leafs out. Leaves later turn orange or yellow in fall. It is slow growing to 20', and requires shelter from the hot sun. The leaves of this tree are small, light green in color, and deeply lobed.
